Dr Hnin Yee Mon

Dr Mon grew up in Yangon, Burma/Myanmar and obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree in 2011 before moving to Australia in 2013. She completed her hospital training in Perth, WA and moved into General Practice training in NSW and gained the fellowship of Royal Australian Collage of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2019. She has been providing health care in Bathurst since 2017.

She has also completed a Certificate in Child Health (previously known as Diploma in Child Health) through the Sydney’s Children’s Hospitals Network and the University of Sydney. Dr Mon has also completed the Professional certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine.

Dr Mon enjoys most aspects of General Practice Medicine and has particular interests in Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Cardiovascular Health, Dermatology, Sports Medicine, and Preventative Medicine.

Outside work, Dr Mon absolutely loves practicing YOGA and Insight Meditation/Vipassana Meditation on a regular basis.

Dr Mon is fluent in English and Burmese/Myanmar.
